One Injured In Highway 411 Wreck

A late Saturday Evening wreck on US Highway 411 left one man being transported to Floyd Medical Center and a small child slightly injured.
The wreck occurred around 10:00 PM about 100 yards East of Norton Rd. According to Floyd County Police Officers on the scene, the driver was traveling Westbound on Hwy. 411 with a small female child when according to the driver, a deer ran across the highway. He swerved his Red Mustang to miss the deer and ran off the road into pine trees lining the road.\
The driver was transported to Floyd with minor injuries. According to witnesses, the juvenile had minor bruising from her carseat but appeared to be fine.
Traffic was slightly interupted during the accident as one Westbound lane was closed.
