Roman Claims Fantasy Five Prize
Rome man is celebrating a big lottery win. 77 yr old Wilbur Courtney, is one of two players to win $264,782 each from matching all five winning numbers in the April 11 Fantasy 5 drawing.
Cowboy’s Food Mart on the Kingston Highway sold the winning Quik Pick ticket. Courtney said he discovered his win while checking his numbers on the Georgia Lottery Web site.
He said “I didn’t do anything…It was kind of unbelievable when you first see it.”
A retired ceramic tile worker, Courtney has no immediate plans for his winnings.
