Former Collective Soul Band Member Driving Vehicle Moments Before Deadly Crash
New information has surfaced concerning the events of a deadly accident that took the life of a Stockbridge woman over the weekend.
As has already been reported, the White BMW driven by Faith Corinio was initially stopped several minutes before the crashed that claimed Corino’s life. At that time an unidentified male
was driving the vehicle and was arrested for a suspended license, following too closely and a hold for Henry County authorities.
After the traffic stop, Corino took the wheel of the vehicle and was killed moments later when she struck another vehicle head on.
RomeNewswire has learned that the individual arrested who was initially driving the white BMW is Michael Shane Evans. Evans was one of the founding members of popular grunge rock group Collective Soul. Evans was the bands drummer from 1993 until he left the group in 2005.
As of April 23, Evans was still being housed in the Floyd County jail.
