Shorter To Graduate Nearly 400
Shorter College will hold commencement ceremonies on Saturday.
An estimated 185 graduates will take part in the 10 a.m. ceremony while the 2 p.m. ceremony will include approximately 200 students receiving their degrees.
Dr. Carmen Acevedo Butcher, associate professor of English and scholar in residence at Shorter College, will be the featured speaker at both ceremonies. Dr. Butcher describes her speech titled “Who is the amazing Shorter College student?”
Both commencement exercises which will be held in the Winthrop-King Center.
