Wreck Leaves One Injured; Traffic Crippled

A late afternoon wreck left traffic sluggish on GA Loop 1 and at least one injured.
The wreck occurred around 4:45 PM Monday at GA Loop 1 at Riverside Parkway. Initial reports stated that a female victim was unresponsive and that her headrest was covered in blood, though Rome Police Units found her responsive when they were first to arrive.
Though there were injuries, Rome Fire Units were able to go back into service citing that their services were no longer needed. Rush Hour Traffic was moderately affected by the wreck.
