Jurors Hear About Money Flow In Redstrom Trial
The chain of possession highlighted testimony from admitted drug dealer Mario Armas Wednesday in the federal drug conspiracy trial of Kevin Redstrom of Rockmart.
Armas told a jury that he never personally gave money to Redstrom as part of drug deals, but that Armas gave it to Lonnie Merren, who gave it to Redstrom who gave it to Jimmy Collins.
Armas is serving a 15 year sentence after entering a guilty plea to charges last fall. Merren, who also pled guilty last fall, is slated to testify today.
