One Man Injured In Kingston Road Accident
An afternoon accident has sent one Bartow County man to Rome’s Floyd Medical Center.
According to police on the scene, 55 year old John Barton was traveling East on Kingston Highway near Old Freeman Ferry Road just after noon when he veered off the road and lost control of his black Chevy S-10, Striking a Water hydrant.
Floyd County police, EMS and Rome fire responded to the scene and traffic was slowed for about 25 minutes while the scene was cleared.
