Tree Falls across Train Tracks During Thunder Storm, Traffic Blocked In Downtown
A large tree fell during a thunderstorm late Thursday evening around 8pm and blocked the railroad tracks that run adjacent to Cedar Avenue.
Traffic was blocked by the train for about an hour and a half on 12th Street, Maple and 2nd Avenue while crews from the railroad worked to clear the fallen tree.
The train was moving again and traffic was flowing normally around 9:30pm.
