Police Make Arrests For Possession Of Drugs
45 year old Sandra Fay Bowen of a Weathington Drive address in west Rome was arrested by Floyd County police early this morning, charged with a violation of the controlled substances act for possession of a drug called soma. Officer Chris Fincher said he observed Bowen stumbling down the road near the intersection of Burnett Ferry Rd. and Smith Rd. When he checked the woman out, he found the container the pills. Bowen is also being detained for state probation officials.
18 year old Anthony Albert Strom of a Primulus Rd. address was charged with disorderly conduct, simple battery and possession of klonopin was arrested this morning by Rome police. He was picked up on Eastland Court after allegedly making inappropriate advances toward a juvenile female.
