Police Make Battery/Drug Arrests
39 year old Michelle Leigh Harmon of a Park Avenue address in Lindale was arrested Sunday evening after allegedly battering a victim who was already suffering from disabling head injuries.
Harmon was charged with aggravated assault under the family violence act.
32 year old John R. Jester of a Magnolia Avenue address was arrested yesterday after city police observed Jester run a couple of red lights. When he was stopped, police say that he attempted to swallow a quantity of marijuana.
Jester was charged with eight different violations, including driving on a suspended license, reckless driving and possession of marijuana.
