Rome Police Arrest Two After Suspected Burglary
Rome police arrested two men Monday afternoon after recieving a call on South Broad Street that two men were in the act of a burglary.
According to Rome Police Sgt. Wendy Stewart, she and another officer were in the area when the call came in. Stewart, along with several other Rome officers and two Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene.
Officers were able to apprehend the two individuals quickly.
Charges for the two yet to be identified men are pending.
