Exclusive Video Of Hooters Being Evicted
The owners of the Rome Hooters had to scramble Tuesday morning around 9am after Sheriff’s Deputies showed up at the store with an eviction notice and property owners began removing things from the building and setting it in the parking lot.
Shortly after the eviction began, Hooters management and owners rented a box truck and began loading the items into the truck out of the parking lot. According to Store manager Carmine Costello, they will place all of the equipment and merchandise into storage until the new store opens.
Officials with Hooters said they still plan on opening the new Hooters on the Rome Bypass in two weeks.
According to the eviction notice issued on April 25th and filed May 5th, the local Hooters store and its owners, Brian Bowles and Larry Anderson owe RH Ledbetter Properties (the owner of the shopping center) $115,000.00 Dollars.
There is no word yet from Hooters International on this situation involving their local franchise.
