Stabbing On Timberwood Drive (See Video)
According to Floyd County police, an argument between two brothers ended in one sibling stabbing the other on Timberwood Drive in Silver Creek.
Rome/Floyd Fire, EMS and Floyd County police responded to the home at 22 Timberwood Drive after the altercation and found the unidentified suspect had fled the scene in a white Honda Accord.
Police quickly located the suspect and apprehended him on Old Rockmart Road near the entrance to Ridgewood.
A female was also apprehended but was released after police determined she was not involved in the assault.
The suspect was taken to the Floyd County jail and according to police will be charged with Aggravated Assault.
The victim was not severely injured and refused to be transported to the hospital.
