Mayor Upset About Graffiti

Rome Mayor Wright Bagby has declared war on graffiti artists. Bagby is asking citizens who have any information, even those who might see the criminals at work to contact the city’s police tip line at 236-5000.

He says the city has a policy of trying to remove graffiti within five days and adds that the process gets to be very expensive. Rome Middle and High school were tagged by the graffiti goons over the weekend.
