Police are searching for Theron Plummer, 34, of a Williamson St. Address, a Stocky Black Male driving a 90’s model silver Cadillac DeVille who witnesses saw leaving the scene and heading towards Wal-Mart and Hwy. 411 on Callier Springs Rd.
Plumber had been having breakfast with his 16 year old son when he and the son returned to the Woodland St. home where the victim, Kimberly Ware was staying with her aunt.
Ware and Plumber were arguing when police say Plumber shot Ware multiple times in the back bedroom of the home.
Police received a tip from a neighbor in West Rome that Plumber may have been at his parents home on Williamson Street.
Around 2:00 PM, Officers from both the city and county along with Rome/Floyd SWAT set a perimeter up around the parents home on Williamson St. at Watts Way.
Tear Gas had been deployed around 2:30 PM and they were awaiting any signs of Plummer. After no response, SWAT moved in to clear the house only to find Plummer was not there.
The investigation is still ongoing. Police ask that if you see Plumber or know where he is, please call 911 immediately. He is considered armed and dangerous.
