Help Name The RFPRA Mascot

The Rome/Floyd Parks and Rec is looking for a name for their new mascot.

According to a RFPRA press release, The Authority invites children and adults of all ages to help name the Northside Swim Center Mascot. Submit your name for a chance to win a 2008 season pool pass!

The mascot naming contest runs now through June 7. The winning mascot name will be announced on Wednesday, June 11. Kids are also invited to download a coloring page of the mascot for a chance to have their coloring art exhibited online. The Northside Swim Center is located on Kingston Ave NE at the corner of Church St. NE. The Northside Swim Center is open to the public for open swim Monday – Saturday from 11 AM – 5 PM. Admission for all ages is $5. Individual and family season passes are available for purchase during open swim hours at the pool and at the RFPRA main office.
