Flaw Found In Design Of New RR Bridge Over Martha Berry Blvd.
An engineering design issue has been discovered at the new railroad overpass on Martha Berry just south of John Davenport Drive.
DOT Board member David Doss from Rome says the project involves the welding of the rails to the bridge and that the problem can be corrected and the contractors still meet the December 31st completion date for the project.
Cost of the repair is estimated at more than $90,000.
