Motorcyclist Injured in Collision

A motorcyclist was left with a possible broken leg after colliding with a vehicle Saturday Night.

The wreck occurred at 7:00 PM at the intersection of US Hwy. 411 and Dodd Blvd. According to Rome Police PFC Matt Fowler, the driver of the vehicle was irritated when the red light turning onto Dodd Blvd. would not change, so she ran it. She then collided with the motorcycle which was traveling westbound on Hwy. 411.

The motorcyclist was transported to Floyd Medical Center with a leg injury. The female driver was cited for running the red light.
