Male Arrested in North Rome Stabbing

Rome Police were able to quickly respond and apprehend a suspect after he stabbed a female on Heard St.

The stabbing happened shortly before 3:30 PM Wednesday at 9 Heard St. in North Rome. According to reports, a female was stabbed and the male suspect was still there. Nearby Police Units were able to quickly respond and take the suspect into custody so that Rome Fire and EMS Personnel could move in and treat the victim.
