Committee Recommends Leaving EMS Zones With FMC
Members of the Region 1, EMS transportation committee have voted to leave three EMS zones with Floyd Medical Center that had been asked for by Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Officials with the committee said Floyd had improved their coverage and response times and voted to leave the three zones with Floyd Medical Center.
This issue will now head to the Region 1 Council for a vote at their August meeting.
