County Posts Nusiance Abatement Notice On West Rome Home
Attorneys with Floyd County filed a nuisance abatement action in magistrate court on Wednesday against the Robinson Road home of Russell Dixon after building officials deemed the home unsafe. The notice was posted on the home Thursday.
Dixon told RomeNewswire that a hearing has been set for sometime next month in the case.
Dixon’s home burned last November after leaving his pregnant dog at home sleeping on an electric blanket and the blanket sparked a fire.
RomeNewswire covered this story last week after Dixon posted a banner on his home requesting help.
