Fricks License Suspended For Failure To Appear
According to audio received from Gordon County 911 of the Garry Fricks traffic stop and arrest, Floyd County Commissioner Garry Fricks license was suspended for “failure to appear” on a previous offense.
Dispatchers ran Fricks information in their GCIC database and according to Gordon 911, Fricks was served on the failure to appear on 08/22/01.
According to the information, his license was suspended on 08/29/01.
If the information in the database is correct and Fricks was indeed served on 8/22/01, that would seem to dispute his assertion that he was unaware of why his license was suspended and that he was not aware of the suspension.
