Alligator Spotted In Lake Conasauga

Local residents have been reporting the sighting of a small alligator swimming in Lake Conasauga in Garden Lakes.

The most recent sighting occurred on Saturday night when it was spotted by two local fisherman.

Reports are that the alligator is about 4 1/2 feet long with about a 6 inch thick head.

Officials with local DNR office said they have not yet received any calls concerning the animal.
