Economy Still Growing According To Highlands Professor

Georgia Highland College professor Dr. Bruce Jones says that the US economy is still growing at a rate of 1.0 to 1.3%, but that the tremendous growth the US experienced in the recent past makes the current situation seem more drastic.

He thinks there could be a turn for the better around the middle of 09 regardless of who is elected President in November.

Jones also says that the US has to realize that the US functions in a world economy where things that happen in India, China, Brazil and Russia do have an impact on what happens in the US.
