Grandpa’s Attic Damaged In Overnight Fire, Home On Rooney Road Burns
A fire caused extensive damages to Grandpa’s Attic Antique store on Shorter Avenue this morning and before fire fighters could leave that scene they were called to a house fire at Rooney and Anders Rd. in western Floyd County.
Battalion Chief Steve Wilson said damages at the Rooney Rd. site were moderate. Crews were not able to establish a cause for either fire overnight and both are still being examined by investigators from the Fire Marshals office.
One person was slightly injured at Rooney Rd., but refused a trip to the ER.
