Parking Deck Construction And Design Work To Cost 6.6 Million
The new parking deck between the Forum and the Hawthorn Suites will involve more than 380 spaces and should be complete by mid- March.
The county agreed to a guaranteed maximum price for construction and design work at $6,669,557, but the final price tag will be somewhat higher, closer to $8 million with contingencies and financing considered. The contractors said that all of the foundation work should be complete by late August and at that point the pre-cast concrete should start going up.
