Suspect Seriuously Injured In GSP Motorcycle Pursuit

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after striking a power pole in a GSP Pursuit Early Wednesday Evening
The accident happened shortly after 5:00 PM on GA Route 156/ New Rosedale Rd. at Southern Woods Dr. According to sources, the trooper initiated pursuit after catching the cycle going 126 MPH on radar right before the suspect lost control and hit the pole.
The suspect who was seriously injured was transported to Floyd Medical Center where his condition is currently unknown.
