Advance Voting Begins Monday
(Floyd County Release) The Floyd County Board of Elections and Registration would like to remind all voters that advanced voting begins Monday, July 7 at 8 a.m.
Advanced voters will need to show proper identification before voting. There are several forms of proper identification including: a Georgia driver’s license, even if expired; a valid state or federal issued photo id, including one issued by the Department of Driver Services or Floyd County Registrar’s office; valid U.S. passport; valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency of entity of the U.S. Government, Georgia, or any county municipality, board, authority, or other entity of this state (photo id’s from private businesses will not be accepted); valid U.S. military photo ID; or valid tribal photo ID.

Advanced voting will be held Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 11 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. Citizens can vote in two locations: Floyd County Administrative Building, 12 East 4th Avenue, 2nd Floor: Commissioner’s Caucus Room or The Rome Civic Center, 400 Civic Center Drive.
Election results will also be posted continuously on the Election web site as precinct totals are released on Election Day.
