McDonough Man Arrested for Aggravated Child Molestation in Rome
Charges of aggravated child molestation were filed against a 46 year old south Atlanta man Tuesday.
Floyd County Sheriff’s deputies picked up 46 year old Michael Lee Burnette of a McDonough address who is accused of sexual crimes against a 13 year old girl in Rome back in May.
Burnette is charged with two counts each of aggravated child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes and cruelty to children. The warrants allege that the crimes occurred at the same location on the Calhoun Avenue in Rome on unspecified dates during May of this year.
