Dempsey to Address Health Care Issues at Town Hall Meeting
Health care issues will be the focus for a town hall meeting hosted by State Rep. Katie Dempsey Tuesday night at 5:30 in Heritage Hall, the downtown campus for Georgia Highland College.
Dempsey will have State Rep. Sharon Cooper of Cobb County, the chair of the House Health and Human Services committee as her special guest. Coopers is the ranking female member of the Georgia House and was been named to a special study committee which is reviewing the Ga Certificate of Need process for health care facilities.
It will be the third in a series of town hall meetings conducted by Dempsey this summer. All have featured house leaders in specific fields
