Cave Spring Get’s Okay for Fire Station Project

Cave Spring officials have won approval from HUD to re-utilize an old community building in a housing community off Highway 411 on Fincher Street for a new fire station. That should help bring the project in under it’s SPLOST budget.

Mayor Rob Ware says that the building can easily be configured to provide living quarters for the fire department and the only new construction will be the bays to house the apparatus.
