2 people were injured when they lost control of thier vehicle on Hwy. 411 and rolled in the median, leaving one trapped.
The wreck occurred around 7:55 PM when the older-model Chevy Blazer lost control topping the hill at Nichols Rd. and spun into the median. The car then rolled once and stopped sitting on its passenger side about 200 yards East of the intersection.
The male driver who was bleeding from the head was able to climb from the vehicle, while the female passenger was left pinned. Rome firefighters were able to cut the windshield and remove her via the opening.
Both were transported by Floyd EMS with what appeared to be minor injuries. One lane in each direction was shutdown for just under an hour.
