Locals Learn About Gang Activity
Concerned citizens packed a conference room at the forum on election night to hear officials 
with the Floyd County Sheriff’s office and the local Gang Task Force present the latest in a series of gang awareness seminars.
Concerned citizens heard from police on how to spot gang activity along with information from District Attorney Leigh Patterson on the prosecution of those involved in the activity.
Floyd County Sheriff Tim Burkhalter and State Representative Katie Dempsey also spoke to the crowd.
