More Monuments at Myrtle Hill?

One, possibly two new monuments may be in the works at Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

Charles Johnson, a representative of the local Purple Heart veterans group asked the city to set aside small sites for a Purple Heart Veterans Monument and a POW/MIA monument in the Plaza at historic Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

Johnson said the veterans will lead fund raising efforts to pay for the monuments.
