Female Injured When Car Rolls On GA Hwy. 140

A female driver was left with minor injuries after she lost control on rain-slickened Hwy. 140 Wednesday Evening.
According to Ofcr. Coffee with the Floyd County Police Dept., the female stated that while going Westbound, she ran of onto the shoulder near Bells Ferry Rd. around 7:45 PM. She attempted to correct but ran off into the ditch and flipped. Ofcr. Coffee did state that the accident was still under investigation.
The car slid a short distance and stopped upside down still in the ditch, trapping the driver.
The female was freed by the crews Floyd EMS and Rome Fire Engine 9 without further assistance from the Rescue Truck.
