North Rome Home Destroyed By Fallen Tree
A tree has fallen on a home on Forsyth Street in North Rome, crushing about half of the structure. The Red Cross has been called to the scene to assist the family.
Home owner Melvin Marbury said his family was inside the home when the tree fell and they had to bust through the back door to get out of the structure.
Storms around the area knocked down a total of about 6 trees Wednesday evening.
