Police Arrest Suspect In 5 Guys Robbery
Rome police have made an arrest in the robbery of the 5 Guys Burger and Fries Restaurant last Friday night that left a female store manager injured after she was struck with a pistol.
According to jail reports, 21 year-old Marcus Rashaun Wade of a Decatur Street address was arrested and charge with the crime after tips led police to Wade.
According to police, Wade will be charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Wade’s residence was only a short distance from the restaurant and police say that Wade was familiar with the business and had apparently turned in an application there.
Wade allegedly got away with over $3000.00 dollars and police have yet to locate the money or the weapon used in the crime.
