Ledbetters Get Approval For Channeling Of Burwell Creek Near Riverside
Rome’s River Development committee got a ride on the rivers Thursday morning while an infomercial for the Roman Holiday was being filmed Thursday.
Environmental Services director Eric Lindberg told the passengers that a permit has been issued for the relocation and channeling of Burwell Creek on the east side of Riverside Parkway. Rome’s Ledbetter Properties is planning a large mixed use development in the area and has an option on a large amount of acreage between the Parkway and Jackson Hill.
