Police Arrest Suspect After Burglary
Police were in the area of Woodbine Ave. in West Rome looking for two suspects that allegedly burglarized a home Monday Afternoon.
The Burglary occurred around 2:00 PM at 301 Woodbine Ave. The resident there reported that the suspects, two black males riding bicycles, had left going towards Dellwood St.
Rome Police along with a State Trooper converged on the area and began searching around homes when witnesses reported seeing the suspects. The Trooper located a man matching the description a short time later on Lavender Dr. Though it is unknown whether this man was one of the burglars, Police took his information for future reference in the investigation.
