City Officer Wrecks Enroute to Accident

Police, fire and EMS responded to the 100 block of Burnett Ferry Road near Conn Street midday Thursday after a minor accident occurred.

While on the way to the scene, a city police officer also wrecked on Burnett Ferry after he lost control of his vehicle on the wet road. According to reports, the police car was moderately damaged.

The officer was not hurt. There were only moderate injuries reported in the original accident.
