HOPE Contributes $130 Million to Students In Coosa Valley

The Georgia lottery is celebrating 15 years of help to college students across the state and the middle Coosa Valley has really reaped the benefits of the lottery funded HOPE scholarship program.

Nearly 50,000 students from Floyd, Polk, Chattooga, Gordon and Bartow counties have received nearly $130 million in HOPE funds over the past 15 years, while the four college in Rome have received a little more than $120 million from students who have benefited from the HOPE aid.
