Japanese TV Crew To Film CMC Doctor
A Japanese TV film crew will be at Cartersville Medical Center to film one of the hospitals Radiologist performing a procedure.
Dr. Mark Rheaume, a Radiologist at CMC, will be filmed Monday morning while performing a procedure on a patient of the hospital. The TV film crew is with the Japanese TV station, Yomiuri TV Japan. They are here in America doing a story on Dr. Mark Rheaume’s wife,
Dr. Maki Kuraoka Rheaume, an internal medicine physician with the Nihon Clinic in Atlanta. The Nihon Clinic is an integrated multi-specialty clinic established to meet the medical needs of Japanese people working and living in the United States*.
“The TV station is filming Drs. Rheaume and Rheaume for a Japanese television show called “Global Letter”. The show is doing a special on Dr. Maki Rheaume and as part of that special, they want to highlight the work of Dr. Mark Rheaume.” said Jennifer A. Wiggins, Director of Marketing and PR for Cartersville Medical.
The procedure on the patient will be a Chemoembolization of an abdominal wall metastic lesion. A procedure that is performed in the interventional specials room inside the Radiology Department of the hospital.
