Olive Garden License Suspended Six Days, Commission Says No To Paint And Body And Body Shop
The Olive Garden will not be able to sell alcoholic beverages from today all the way through the coming weekend.
The restaurant admitted that a bartender had sold wine to an under-aged person in late May, a second such offense in seven months. Commissioner Bill Collins tried unsuccessfully to reduce the penalty to a three day suspension.
The city commission also rejected a request for a paint and body shop on Turner McCall, voting unanimously to reject the Gerber Collision, Triple C Development request, saying that they had no problems with the business, but did not want it in that location.
The panel sent another paint and repair shop rezoning back to the planning commission. A $600,000 grant
