SWAT Standoff In Rockmart Ends With One Dead
One person is dead after a SWAT situation ended in Rockmart Wednesday afternoon.
Police had a person barricaded in a home in Rockmart. The location was in the area of 1st and Lane Street.
Police say the person in the home was found dead, sources say it was apparently self inflicted although police would not confirm how the person died.
The Paulding County Sheriff Office was assisting Rockmart Police.
Police gave no reason why they may have been after the person.
The incident is under investigation.
