Conyers Doctor Pleads Guilty To Kidnapping For His Role In Murder Of Inland Worker

A Conyers physician received a light jail sentence for his role in the murder of Darlene Roberts, a former human resources official at Inland Rome.

Robert John Schiess III pled guilty to kidnapping charges and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. He’ll only have to serve three years and with time already served, he’ll have to spend another 15 months behind bars.

Barbara Roberts, who was convicted of the murder, will be sentenced August 29th and could face the death penalty.
