County Settles Entice Lawsuit
Owners of the Entice Superstore in Shannon and the Floyd County commission have agreed to settle a suit brought by the stores owners seeking to overturn Floyd County’s adult entertainment ordinance.
The store operators have agreed to remove ‘adult superstore’ from their signage, have agreed to not operate a sexually oriented business and have agreed to drop an appeal of their lawsuit loss in the US District Court that was to go before a Court of Appeals. The settlement ends long and expensive legal challenges to the county’s ordinance
