Fire In Oven Evacuates Kellogg’s Plant
Fire fighters responded to Kellogg’s bakery on Old Lindale Road Thursday evening when smoke was reported coming from one of the buildings.
When fire fighters arrived, they determined that it was a fire confined inside one of the bakery’s ovens.
Rome Fire Department Battalion Chief Troy Brock said the building was evacuated as a precaution but there were no injuries and there did not appear to be any damage.
