RFPRA To Host Town Hall Meeting To Discuss New Shannon Rec Center
The Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Authority is hosting a Town Hall Meeting to share plans for the new Shannon Recreation Center. The meeting will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, September 4 at the Shannon Park Scout Hut. Shannon residents and the public are invited to attend and learn more about the approved plans and construction timelines for the recreation center.
The Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Authority contributes to quality of life and the economic development of the community. The Authority’s mission is to enrich the life of the total community fulfilled through a broad portfolio of year-round recreational programs, services and facilities for all ages. RFPRA programs and services include youth and adults athletics, child care programs, senior programs, and parks and community center management.
