Fiery Crash Claims Life Of Calhoun Ordinance Officer
A fiery crash has apparently claimed the life of a Calhoun woman on Highway 136 near Interstate 75 in Resaca.
Sources tell Rome Newswire that the individual killed worked as a Gordon County ordinance officer.
Sources also say that the victim was struck head on by an armored car after the truck swerved into the oncoming lane to avoid a vehicle that slowed quickly in its lane.
The Gordon County Sheriff’s office is investigating the accident.
