One of Floyd’s Most Wanted Plucked Off River in Alabama

One of Floyd County’s Most Wanted has been arrested on the Coosa River in Alabama, while a second suspect got away.

41 year old Melissa Collins was wanted for credit card fraud, while the male suspect, thought to be Jerry Parker of a Reynolds Street address, was wanted for forgery.

The pair were on a raft apparently headed for Gadsden when they stopped for an undisclosed reason.

Collins sought permission to use a private dock to tie up to but the property owner apparently notified Sheriff’s deputies who responded and took the woman into custody. Parker is believed to have taken off in the raft.
